Magnetic brake sensor

A magnetic sensor is an excellent solution for hydraulic brakes and brake levers with integrated shifters (brake lever combined with a gear shifter).

Installation of the magnetic sensor:

1. Attaching the sensor: Attach the sensor with the cable to the stationary part of the brake lever.
2. Attaching the magnet: Attach the round magnet to the brake lever.
3. Operation check: It is best to perform the installation with the controller turned on, when the sensor is plugged into the red socket, to observe the correct operation of the sensor.

Sensor operation:

• Rest position: The magnet in the rest position should be as close to the sensor as possible.
• Brake activation: When the magnet moves away from the sensor, the controller receives a signal to start the braking procedure.

Recommendation:

• Mounting on the left handle: It is recommended to mount the sensor on the left handle, i.e., on the front brake.

A magnetic sensor is a practical solution that increases braking efficiency in electric bicycles, providing fast and precise operation of hydraulic brakes and brake levers.
