Magnetic brake sensor

The magnetic sensor is an excellent solution for hydraulic brakes and brake levers with integrated shifters (brake lever combined with gear shifter).

Mounting the magnetic sensor:

1. Attaching the sensor: Attach the sensor with the cable to the stationary part of the brake lever.
2. Attaching the magnet: Stick the round magnet to the brake lever.
3. Checking operation: It is best to perform the installation with the controller turned on, when the sensor is plugged into the red socket, to observe the correct operation of the sensor.

Sensor operation:

• Rest position: The magnet in the rest position should be as close as possible to the sensor.
• Brake activation: When the magnet moves away from the sensor, the controller receives a signal to start the braking procedure.

Recommendation:

• Mounting on the left lever: It is recommended to mount the sensor on the left lever, i.e., on the front brake.

The magnetic sensor is a practical solution that increases braking efficiency in electric bikes, providing fast and precise operation of hydraulic brakes and brake levers with integrated shifters.
